MY TAKE: The Atfal Trainee Scheme

During quarantine, Atfal have had nothing to do. So, Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya decided to set up a National Atfal Trainee Scheme, a course including photography, journalism, video editing and more. I interviewed four Atfal, three who attend the classes and one who does not, to see what their thoughts are about it.

My friends, Affan, Sabir and Zain have been attending most of the classes. Regarding their favourite classes, Zain thought video editing is the best since he had done it before and found it fun. Sabir’s favourite is photography – for its relaxing atmosphere, while Affan finds web design enjoyable.

All three boys agreed that the Atfal Trainee Scheme should continue. Some improvements were suggested;  the classes should try to start more on time, and the organizers might want to change the platform for the classes from Zoom to some other more secure platform, such as Microsoft Teams or Google Meets. It was also suggested that some new classes such as art and animation can be added. Overall, the Atfal had a very positive attitude towards the classes.
