How Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya has helped me

“I solemnly pledge that I shall always be ready to sacrifice my life, wealth, time and honour, for the sake of my faith, country and nation”

Years before I was a fairly quiet and reserved person, not feeling comfortable in attending events such as: local Atfal classes, Ijtemas etc. I was never very outgoing in competitions and speaking out in crowds.

However, when lockdown started classes were virtual, I still resumed my normal daily lifestyle, and though classes were online; I still did not have any consideration on joining. However on one occasion I was told by my mother to join the class. I tried not to but eventually I joined. My teacher, whose name is Bilaal Dar Sb, saw my name and asked who I was. I began to be overcome by agitation; not knowing what to say or even how to say it.

Eventually I stated my name, and Bilaal Sb very kindly introduced me to theclass and I suddenly felt very comfortable and happy. As the months wentby, I kept rising in confidence; answering many questions which Bilaal Sb asked in class. Alhumdulillah there was an occasion where there were online quizzes regarding religious and general knowledge, Bilaal Sb very generously asked me if I could participate to represent my local Jamaat; and so I agreed. By the sheer grace of Allah the Almighty I reached the final, though coming second place I was very joyous that Allah the Almighty gave me this wonderful opportunity to participate.

A few months from then, the in person classes restarted; instead of being nervous and anxious, I was overjoyed and happy to meet my teacher and brothers who I worked with. Since then, I have always strived to earn more knowledge and come to classes, Ijtemas, competitions etc. This is all down to the blessings of Khilafat, and the blessings of MAA which helped me throughout the way to aid me to where I am now. SubhanAllah.
